City, NEDC, and NCSD Distributes Housing Survey
What are your current housing needs? Is your household income going to substantially change in the next five years? Do you plan to build? Looking for a larger home? Looking to downsize? Would you prefer the convenience of renting instead of owning? Your answers are important to planning for future housing needs in Nevada. Nevada Economic Development Council (NEDC) identified housing as a need through employer interviews throughout the city. The City of Nevada also identified a need for housing through their comprehensive planning review. One of the Nevada Community School District’s (NCSD) goals is to plan for future growth of the district. Planning for housing in 2013 begins today and your thoughts are important to this process. You can find the City, NEDC, and NCSD housing survey information in the June City newsletter, June NCSD newsletter, or by downloading it off each of the three entities’ websites. Or, you may complete the survey online. Click here for the online survey. Once you have downloaded it and completed the simple survey, you can email it to cityhall@midiowa.net. Please return it before June 29 by dropping it off at the City Hall drop box (in the parking lot of 1209 6th Street), at any local bank, at any local pharmacy, at Fareway (by the ads stand), or the Public Library. Finally, you can always return it by mail to City Hall, 1209 6th Street, Nevada IA 50201. Thank you for your community support. We appreciate knowing your future housing desires.
