Attention K - 4th Graders! In honor of National Police Week, May 11-14, the Nevada Police Department is having a coloring contest.

One student from each grade will be chosen to have their winning picture put in the Nevada Journal. The winning students will have lunch with the School Resource Officer and will also receive a special gift from the Nevada Police Department. Each student who colors a picture will have it displayed at Nevada’s Police Day, on Friday, May 15, at the Nevada City Hall. Winning pictures will be determined by neatness and creativity.

Pictures should be turned in to the student’s teacher along with the students name & grade (even if in multi-age, please put your actual grade level) no later than Tuesday, May 5.
