Voting Information - To be eligible to vote, you must be 18 years of age or older, be a citizen of the United States, reside in Story County, and register 10 days immediately preceding an election. A resident may register to vote up to 11 days prior to an election if it's a City, Special, or School election. Ten (10) days if it's a Primary or General election by completing a registration from and submitting it to the County Auditor or all City Halls with the exception of McCallsburg City Hall and Nevada City Hall. Post Office (Zip Code 50201) - The Post Office is located at 437 K Avenue, telephone (515) 382-2709. The hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, and is closed Sunday and holidays. The Post Office will hold your mail for 30 days while you are away from home. Complete the necessary forms at the Nevada Post Office. Call the Post Office when determining the location of your mailbox.
